Dominic is an Associate in the Finance practice at CMS Holborn Asia, the Formal Law Alliance between CMS Singapore and Holborn Law LLC.

He advises a wide range of clients, including financial institutions, corporates, and startups, on both domestic and cross-border financing transactions. His experience spans various financing structures, including venture debt facilities, project finance arrangements, and trade finance documentation.

Dominic routinely supports clients through all stages of a financing transaction, from initial structuring and term sheet negotiation to drafting, due diligence, and closing. His cross-border work often involves coordinating with foreign counsel and advising on multi-jurisdictional security packages.

Dominic holds an LL.B. (Cum Laude) degree from the Singapore Management University and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2023.

  • CIMB Thai Bank Public Company Limited, as to Singapore law, in connection with a THB 1,750bn credit facilities for the borrower.
  • Global Advantage Student Housing Ltd in relation to a JPY 1.02bn bridge term loan facility granted by SAJP VI 2.0 LP (acting through its general partner, Star Asia Partners IV Ltd).
  • Various investees of Jungle Ventures in connection with their debt facilities, including traditional loans, crypto borrowing and notes issuances. 
  • Leap Technologies on (i) its USD 30m secured venture debt financing provided by Mars Growth Capital and (ii) its repeat venture debt financing which includes a USD 50m senior secured revolving credit facility provided by HSBC. 
  • Perpetual (Asia) Limited as trustee of Straits Capitol Trust as to Singapore law in connection with a GBP 365m refinancing loan facility provided by United Overseas Bank Limited, Singapore Branch and Malayan Banking Berhad, Singapore Branch to Perpetual (Asia) Limited.
  • Société de Promotion et de participation pour la coopération économique (Proparco) in connection with a USD 27.5m senior secured financing package to the SQ Group.
  • The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection as trustee of SEFE Securing Energy for Europe GmbH as to Singapore law in connection with a EUR 7.5bn term loan facility provided by KfW to SEFE Securing Energy for Europe GmbH.    
  • United Overseas Bank Limited in connection with the refinancing of the Hyatt Regency Hotels and Hyatt House apartment, owned/operated by the M&L Group.
