His skill set is a significant and important addition to our practice and something we had been eager to bring to many of our clients who had been looking to us for this capability. It will also add to our technology, construction, energy and infrastructure practices which are key areas for us in Singapore as well as the wider region, particularly within Southeast Asia where stimulus packages and fund deployments are resulting in continued infrastructure growth.”
Caryn Miller, Joint Managing Director of Asia & the Middle East, adds: “Daniel’s arrival is part of the firm’s continued investment and growth plan in the Asia Pacific region. His experience, further strengthens the firm’s capabilities in this key area, particularly as debt remains a critical component for businesses in the region to achieve their growth aspirations. On this basis, we expect our new finance offering in Singapore to benefit both our local and global clients.”
Daniel Tan says: “I am delighted to join CMS Holborn Asia and to be part of a firm with such a strong global reputation. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop my practice and to establish a new finance team in Singapore, which can support clients on a broad range of finance-related products. I look forward to working with my colleagues both in Asia and across the firm’s global offices.”
